Who was Nephthys ?
Nephthys is the daughter of Geb and Nut. She was the sister of Osiris, Set, and Isis. She was the mother of Anubis she did not know whether Anubis was Set's son or Osiris's son. Nephthys was the lady of the house. The lady of the house the word house means that portion of the sky which was supposed to form the abode of the Sun-god Horus. In the earliest times Nephthys was regarded as the female counterpart of Set. She was always associated with him.She always appears as the faithful sister and friend of Isis.

What did The godess look like?
She had part head of a falcon. She is that girl that was always in the background and never "upfront." She was known as a beautiful girl. Everyone called her the mistress of the house. But she is very fierce.

Who was in her family?
Geb- the father.
Nut- the mother.
Osiris- the brother. Isis's husband.
Isis- the sister. Osiris's wife.
Set-the brother. Her husband.
Anubis- the son. Osiris's son.

Her son Anubis.
Yes, he is Osiris's son. One night Nephthys was crying and Osiris thought it was Isis. Then in the end was Anubis. They just said that her father might as well say Set is her father. He had a jackal head witch a jackal is kind of like a dog. He is the god of embalming the dead.

The book of the dead?
Whats that? You probably ask. It is the book of all the gods and goddesses that had died. Nephthys made that book A LOT bigger.

Nephthys's jealousy.
She has always been jealous of Osiris and Isis's happy marriage. Since Nephthys and Set had a miserable marriage. She always thought Isis and Osiris had a better marriage.

Did you know?
Isis and Osiris are the two faces of the moon. For life waxes and wanes( the differences). The two sisters were close until Anubis then they had grew apart.
